Studio Hire
Our studio space is available for hire. Please contact the Cannery Arts Centre to make a booking. The Cannery hires the pottery studio out for $22/hour (minimum booking of 2 hours). A further fee of $20 per session is payable to the Pottery Club itself for equipment use during the hire. The hire cost of $22/hr + $20/day is an overarching cost for the studio, and not an individual cost per person.
NB: the Cannery requires any hirers to be Cannery Arts Centre members.
About Us
The Esperance Pottery Club is situated behind the main building of The Cannery Arts Centre.
We provide a well-equipped workspace for individuals to create with clay. Members create pottery in a self-guided manner at the club; if you're interested in classes, please contact the Cannery Arts Centre.
The club operates two large electric kilns in which we fire glazed pottery to Cone 6 (about 1222 C). The studio is equipped for hand-building with clay; we also have six electric pottery wheels for those interested in creating wheel-thrown pottery.
We sell a small range of clays to members only. If you're interested in viewing some members' work, drop into the Cannery Arts Centre shop.
